~ Its Probably been done before, and no doubt its probably failed but I’d really like to see a fully fledged SR Cook Book™ be successful - it’s a place where you can discuss food stuffs, share your recipes and talk about your kitchen disasters. I really enjoy cooking, and I’d like to experiment new things so I think a SR Cook Book™ would be ideal to give everyone a few more ideas to go at. Share anything from Cakes to pies, Sandwiches to fruit salads – anything you’ve got give it here. ~

[I]Here is a simple but very effective cheese and onion sandwich.

You will Need
A Bowl
A Spoon
A Cheese Grater
A Knife,
Half of onion, peeled and washed
Two slices of bread
Mayonnaise
And finally 2 types of cheese (I use Irish cheese, and mild cheddar cheese.)
****

Simply grate as much cheese as required into the bowl, preferably equal amounts. Then slice and dice half of onion (more if required) and toss that into the bowl as well. Then take a table spoon (more if required) of Mayonnaise and chuck that into the bowl. Now simply mix all the ingredients till you see a think cheesy paste in your bowl. Don’t worry if you don’t like mayonnaise, you cannot really taste the mayo; it Just adds texture and fuses the two cheeses together. If you like mayo; butter the bread with a generous amount, and then drizzle your cheese onto on slice. When you are satisfied close the sandwich with the second slice of bread, cut and serve. A tasty, filling sandwich with crunchy onion that will leave you with bad breath for days. Terrific.

-Butter some bread while waiting
