I have recently acquired broadband at home and because it's a simple and basic service, my ISP does not provide me with a way of monitoring how much I up/download. I am limited to 1Gb per month and am charged heavily if I go over this.
Can anyone recommend any sites where I can find a program to install on my pc so I can monitor my usage?
I've tried a few searches but am not technically minded enough to know if it's the right product.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Many thanks.
RG.

It's going up to 300kb in August with no price change.
Won't really make much of a difference though for games as I already get pings of about 15...

My mate's at Uni in London, there's an internet cafe really near to their halls.
Need I say any more?
Super dooper fast internet for freeeeeeeee!
One person even offered me a small monthly fee so they could piggyback. Which was nice. They decided to get their own broadband in the end. Gits.

I never bothered securing mine. Way I figure it is that as long as nobody piggybacking is slowing me down then I'll let them use the spare bandwidth. Obviously if someone starts downloading movies via my wireless when I'm gaming then I'll pull the plug, but so far I've never had any issues.
That's not bad...
