Due to deletes and adds, the record id in one of my tables now starts at 2 and ends at 453. I think there are 449 physical records in the table.

How do I resync the index (reindex it)?

Well the (table) record id in the site is a quick way of seeing how many physical records (tunes) I have listed.

I'm selling my vinyl.

All you can do is create specific queries to remove the gaps. eg "update mytable set id=id-1" and so on. Of course if the id is used in other tables, you risk breaking relationships by doing so.

So it does beg the question, why you care about it.
