Looking for a decent pair of headphones. Ones that cancel out external noise so that you can't hear the noise of the plane etc when you are travelling.

Not looking to pay a lot, obviously the more you pay the better ones you get but I'm looking for some recomendations as to what are the best buys.

Cheers.

In that case, Sennheiser are your best bet. I can't recommend a particular model though, as I don't know them that well - but the ones I've tried were very good.

Listen to Chipseh. I have those 'phones and they're bladdy fantastic.

Although you are after noise-cancelling headphones, so the big ear-muf types would probably work better for that.

But those Sony ones are the best in-ear ones you can get.

Sony MDR-EX71SL

I have no problems with them whatsoever, and they cost around £25.

Hmmm, headphones that block external noise? I can help you, but it would be pricey, for example, Sony MRDV700 DJ headphones worth £100 blocks any external noise within the area. However, there is a pair of Seinheiser headphones which do the job, but I can't remember the name, but it would cost £40-£60. I look it out for you.
