Ok, this is rather annoying now.

Just seen some screens of what looks like a top quality Mario Kart game by Namco (which also features their own character Pacman).

The bad thing is that it is designed for the arcade system Nintendo, Namco and Sega created based on GameCube hardware. So it'll be pay per play and only in arcades...

I hope it gets a release on the 'Cube at some point. Looks rather good.

I'm gonna watch the clips now if I can.

Haven't been in an arcade for about a year now. Good luck to Nintendo though.

With the exception of Time Crisis 2 and 3, they are all very dull.

Mario Kart is a great idea as an arcade game.

Although I'd love to see a cheap port to the Gamecube. It can't be hard.

Nintendo and Namco are having a really close relationship lately which is excellent, considering Tales Of Symphonia is my favourite Gamecube Rpg to date.

I find this Mario Kart thing a bit weird though. It is not meant to be an arcade game, so the change in direction seems to be very dangerous. Also, Nintendo really need to release a NEW franchise, something that has not been done in ages.
