Apparently Sony where going to stop sales of second hand PS3 games by locking all games to the console it is first used on. This would mean you cant sell it or take your game to your mates house to play in his console etc etc.
Obvisouly this is a bit far fetched so I asked my mate who works for Sony and he said he hasnt heard anything about it and that it probably not true. He wasnt completely sure though. Anyone got a link to confirm or deny this rumour. All I can find is an article stating the rumour. I assume lack of information means its not true.

If people didn't hook their PS3s up to the net, there'd be no way they'd be able to lock the games without writing to the discs anyway...
