No, I just put it here because the NDS FAQs on uknds.com do not mention anything about GBC & GB classic backwar compatibility; and since it was late at night; I just didn't like the prospect of doing a google search...

Nintendo have gone a bit too much with their hardware for the first time; and it looks like it is trying to get the noose round Sony's neck and regain the leadership of the Gaming industry; since we all know Microsoft isn't launching any handheld. Good luck Nintendo...
