"SR FIFA 2004 - PREDICTION TOURNAMENT - ROUND 2, GAME 6"

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

There will be no Predictions League the week after next as I am away tanning myself in Greece. When I get back (11th July), it will be the start of Round 3 and there will only be ten competitors!

We are currently on Round 2, Game 6. At the end of Round 2, the bottom two people will be out of the tournament. That gives you guys lots to play for and you really need to think about your predictions if you want to stay in the tournament. At the end of Round 2, 11th and 12th place will be demolished, and at the end of every round after that, the bottom two people will be out. When you are demolished, not only is your team out, but you will also not be allowed to predict. That means at the end of Round Six, the Top Two will play each other and we will find a winner!

Next week is the most important game yet in this thoroughly exciting tournament. Almost everyone could be out because of the rule that eliminates two people at the end of each round. Only the Top Four (Wakka, Forest Fan, Biggie Little Jnr. and Old Man Eric) are definetly safe. So think very hard about your predictions or you could be out.

Also, if you miss a few games in a row now, it doesn’t matter. There shall be no more people joining in. If you miss a few games and you are out because of it, Tough Luck! You still can’t afford to miss a game because even although you might scrape through this round, the points totals continue to the next round. That means that at the moment, Forest Fan has a huge advantage over all of us because he currently leads at the moment.

The draw for Round Two of the SR PREDICTIONS LEAGUE is as follows:

The next game to be played is Manchester United (Weird Guy) versus Leicester City (Crazy Calvin). It will take place on Saturday, the 25th of June at 12.00 midday. You have to get your predictions in by 11.30 on Saturday. Good luck everyone.

I am as surprised as you, Mav. I will check when I get back from Greece if the subs are actually on.
