Back in the late 1970's George Lucas started work on a film that was named Star Wars-A New Hope. While he was creating this film he must have been unaware that in 23 years after the first release of the film that he would have finished two other two films that make up the trilogy and they would still be watched over and over again by millions of people all around the world!

After 20 years has gone by, all of the films still have as much hype as they had when they were released. He must be pleased that with today’s technology that he can even go back and finish the first three films that he didn’t have the time and money to do.

When Star Wars was created by George Lucas all of his ides were so complex that the technology wasn't available and mostly had to be developed to allow progression to carry on. During the time that the film was being created Ben Burt was the man who had the job to find all of the weird and wonderful sounds that trigger our imaginations at the sound of the word Star Wars. Some of the best sounds that he created were the pulses of blaster fire in fights and the never-ending Hummmm and crashes of the light sabers.

I believe that the first film of the Star Wars Trilogy he created was the real turning point for all of the films that we see and enjoy today. The reason for this is because he had his imagination running wild and if there was something that would not allow a scene to take place, people came up to him and suggested ways around the obstacle or a different approach to solve the problem. This allowed the film to go on.

Today with all of the special effects that are widely used there aren’t so many problems but the real turning point that allowed this was the advances in technology that George Lucas helped to create!

In the newest film not much of what you see is even real but created by graphics artists, I give a lot of credit too them for their work. But still of those years ago the team that made the Trilogy just traveled to locations that they thought most of the population had never been to before and used images that they captured. The team even used thousands of space toy model kits and took hours to build into the famous Death Star. This shows a prime example of how ideas were thought out on how to work around the difficulties at the time and money available.
