I think France's problem, could be similar to the Dutch one. Their two best strikers (van Nistelrooy and Kluivert and Henry and Trezeguet) don't contemplate each other well, unlike Owen and Rooney. :)

Trezeguet didn't really have a poor season at all. He scored 13 in 17 appearences. Hardly poor.
