I would have to say steven speielberg becuase what he has done is not all that good and he has been seen to be some kind of god in the movie bussiness.
Think back to Jurassic Park which was an average movie, it was over rated so much by the fans for a movie that was not all that good. The only thing good was the cgi spec effects.
Then when the sequel came to 2 it was absoloute rubbish because people had seen this stuff before and it was getting old.
Now with the release of Jurrasic Park 3 I think it will sinally show the poor directing skills of this man.
He is not the only one but I do think he is the most over rated.

Alll directors have their fair share of duds under their wing...
Even the universally respected directors such as Scorsese, Cronenburg and Carpinter have made one or two movies that I'm sure they would rather forget... :)
