the czech republic vs holland game was brilliant. However the highlight was easily ian wright.

another big big big big annoying thing from last night was the pronounciations of players names. Although he was probably right nobody says them like that.

in fairness ruud has brought it on himself. the commentators attitudes are probably quite similar to the attitudes of the refs. Ruud's punishment now is the ying to the rewards of his previous cheatings yang. what comes around is oing around.

Although the commentators (joe Royle especially) are tw@ts for putting Van Nistelrooy's reputation before him. They were saying how easily Van Nistelrooy went down when the Czech guy clearly was giving him a bear hug!
Watching the highlights on ITV, even thier commentators picked up that Van was clearly being fouled straight up!
