Yes, but then Nintendo are selling the Wii at launch to people who don't want to be daunted by online capabilities at present. They'll introduce them slowly. The online sections of the Wii are just going to be for downloading the retro games and browsing the weather, news and the Mii channel stuff.
Plus they have one advantage over the 360, an actual browser for surfing the web.

None as yet. Nintendo didn't finish it before they gave out the development consoles, so the first batch of games won't have online capabilities.
