Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach etc.
"Sports Metal" or "Nu-Metal".

Rock music comes and goes in cycles, explodes into mainstream and then retreats back underground where the bandwagon bands fall and give up.

As someone that has listened to rock for over 15yrs now, this latest trend of guys in shorts and baseball caps rapping and yelling is little more than Westlife with tattoos.

I remember seeing Soulfly about 4 years ago and Limp Bizkit were in support. Never heard of them, they had an amusing George Micheal cover but overwhelmed me with their mediocrity.
And now they've number one and I see loads and loads of teens dressing the same and trying to skateboard.

My point?
I chuckle when I hear about these fans saying "Westlife suck, why do they all have to conform and listen to the same music...it sucks" whilst they all have green hair, long key chains and baggy cargo trousers.

Westlife/Linkin Park, no difference.
You dont see the appeal of chart music, they dont see the appeal of shouting and rapping.
Will never change so stop getting annoyed about it all.

Music is a tribal thing, you listen to what you like and wear the uniform of that genre.

I've seen rock bands and fads come and go, and have decided to wait out this dumb jock-rock that offers nothing more than loud choruses and white kids rapping.

And before anyone starts saying "You just dont get this music dude", I have been listening to this stuff for years, used to have the piercings in my face and still have my tattoos.

Bands that have been around and will still be around include:

Tool
Clutch
Biohazard
Soulfly
Sick of it all
Suicidal Tendecies
Pantera
Slayer

Let's give it a couple of months and see which of these faux-sports rock bands still matter

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Very pleased
Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
