but what about Internet wars...it could be just for fun, but there could be on-line groups with an 'arsenal' of computers which were all programmed to hack get into the oppositions files.
I think it could be quite a success with constant on-liners. Just imagine groups of people gathering together in the UK manning the battlestations (computers) and seeing if they can take out the oppositions computers using bug-files, cracks and other fancy internet hacking devices.
Of course there is always the chance that you might get cheaters or people who use special firewalls but you get cheaters everywhere, PSO-On-Line, Planetarion.
I think and Internet war, just for fun would be quite good...virtual massacres of machinery costing the groups £100's for new mother boards etc. It might be a bit expensive but you could show it in TV in all the 1st world countries and even 2nd.
The profitability would be tremendous!
Internet war....Cool!

I read a small article about it a week or two ago...
Since I couldnt make up my mind wether it sounded a little dodgy (WWII not being the nicest of times) or quite a lot of fun...
it stuck in my mind...
I'll have a peek around and see if I can find it again (it may have an attached URL)
I really like the souind of this, I'll have to look it up. Any idea where I can find out more?
The idea being that you can take part in a never-ending online World War 2 MMRPG/FPS
Which... despite sounding like a highly dubious premise, will probably end up being quite a lot of fun :)
