i was a big fan of the Zelda series on the Nintendo 64, is there any game out on the PS2 like a Zelda game? i really don't wanna but i might buy a gamecube just for the sake of this reason.

This isnt ment to sound offensive, but most gamers have not wanted a Zelda type game on the PS2, so there isnt one! Your best bet is to get an N64 or a GBC and buy any pre-owned Zelda games. They probably arent that expensive.

Get a Nintendo 64.
Their are certain efforts on the PS2 in the same genre as Zelda but none of them even come close. With GC's at such low prices it will be a wise investment.
