Hmm, Techno is regaining its funk in clubland. Started 1 year ago with Fergie on the scene in Ibiza. Here are some great one's from the UK Hard Techno scene:

Of that lot, I only really like ballads. My favourites are:

Deep Purple- Soldier of Fortune
Whitesnake- Is This Love?
Metallica- One, Fade to Black, Nothing Else Matters
Iron Maiden- Remember Tomorrow
Texas- Walk the Dust, Listen to Me

Yes, most of them are power ballads, but that still counts, right? =)
