Are there any unofficial 'better performance' drivers available for nVidia cards? My G-Force 3 Ti200 card strains when playing counter-strike as the fps goes from 99 to 40 when action breaks out. Tweaking graphical settings in the game only makes things worse.

I haven't seen any. And the way that nVidia are constantly upgrading their drivers would suggest that they are the best that you can get. Perhaps it's not your graphics card at fault. How are your other components fairing?
