The basic problem is this:
I can't load Windows XP due to the monitor going onto standby mode, and staying in it, just before Windows loads on startup.
This problem happened a few months ago. Back then I changed the monitor to an older one of mine and it worked fine. I then switched back to the monitor I ahd the problems with originally and it worked fine again.
So this problem has now come up again. I tried the same thing I done last time without much luck. It even happens on the other monitor I put in. So far I have tried adjusting option in the BIOS setup mode on startup with no luck either.
At the moment I type this from another PC. I cannot access my PC due to this problem so I would love some help on the matter.
Thanks in advance.
Graphics drivers are a serious pain in the ass.
I'm now in using the VGA mode, thanks for that. Now I'm gonig to try and instal new drivers for the card to see if I can get in normally.
Thanks.
What model is your graphics card?
Try booting into VGA mode, do this by slamming on "F8" when you boot up your computer, choose "VGA" mode and see if you can get into the system.
