1. OHMYGOD its the best invention ever!!!!!
or.......
2.Its a waste of time and money and it isnt that good anyway.
I for one agree with statement 1 as it opens up a whole new world of gaming that no PS2 user has gone before. There is now a whole new(ish) online community out there with forums, chatrooms, tournaments and best of all.......gaming.
Statement 2 still has a point though. It is a tad expensive and you cant get it if you dont have broadband.
Even though it is a bit pricey, it is well worth it.
It is only you that can decide, I cant make you.

What exactly is wrong with AOL, i've been with them for about 2 years and i've never had any problems.
The BT offer looks good but i'd rather not have any download limits. I don't know how quickly that would go.

The thing is, it's not downloading.
It's how much data you have sent/recieved.
So yeah, downloads are one way to bump this up, but holding enough bandwidth for online gaming, I can see that eating up bytes as well.
The difference is, though, an online gaming session is likely to use 1-3 hours of bandwidth, while some hardcore downloader likes to leave Kazaar on all day, so perhaps the bills will be more designed for them so online gaming won't break the bank so much.

You should be skinned alive for recommending that ISP.

Understatement of the millenium.
Xbox Live may be £40 a year but my god does it work.
Can't believe just how poor the PS2 is online. Anyone who, like me, tried to get Fifa 2004 working online will know just how unbelievably painful (and pi$$ poor) the PS2 is online.
Which is ironic really cause it looks like the PSP is going to fab online!

Well BT are upgrading all of their BB customers to 2 MB Broadband and are only doing 2 MB broadband now. But I heard that theres a download limit so you can only download so much per month but I dont download lots of things so i'm okay.
oh and 256k wont be good enough as you'll have very bad lagg and everyone online will start moaning at you for having such a low connection.

Looks like a pretty good deal...
