Don't know if anyone else likes them, but I've really started to like their sound in the past few weeks: Easily some of the catchiest music in the world ever.

Go buy/download some of thier music, kiddies. =D

Whitesnake was formed london in the late 1977 by the ex-deep purple vocalist, David Coverdale. At that time they where not called whitesnake until 1980.

Their final album was in 1997, but by this time it was basically David Coverdale and a hastily arranged group of musicians. It all started going downhill not long after recording Whitesnake, really: Neil Murray and Cozy Powell joined Black Sabbath in 1988, and Steve Vai did not replace Jon Sykes well as lead guitarist despite his ability.

Damn good song, 'Here I Go Again', especially the 1984 version which has a lot of electric organ in it.
