Good point, but other great drivers such as Fangio, Stewart and Prost retired so that other drivers could get a chance to win titles (Whereas Clark and Senna both died before they could get much further).

It is good to see so many records being broke, yes, but it is no good for the competitive nature of the sport that he continues so that it becomes relatively dull; I say relatively, because the rest of the field is relatively competitive (excluding Minardi, obvbiously).

DN, think of it this way. If you had such talent, that you could break so many records in your favourite sport, the sport which you love, records that would probably never stray outside the Top 3 Ever, you'd want to keep them.

You'd be remembered forever in that sport, and go down in history even firmer with every race you won, every championship you won. And as for the winning thing; everyone likes to win.

I would not at all be surprised if he is chosen to replace Schumacher at Ferrari. That would be a very good thing, however, because then we might se some actual competitve racing coming from the two Ferrari drivers.

I can't actually see how Schumacher can be so selfish, though: He holds practically all the records, is winning races with ease and is a very rich man who very much enjoys the sport- surely he wopuld enjoy it more if there was actually competition?

He must either be addicted to winning, or a cocky idiot. Both of which are very likely.

I think that's what put me off for a while - the fact that Schumacher was virtually guaranteed to win. It's still the case now, tohugh he does have a lot more competition than he used to.

Go Button! I see big things for this guy.

Surprisingly enough, I'm actually looking forward to it: Montreal is one of the better tracks in F1. Plus, BAR and Renault's cars have been enhanced over the past few weeks- Ferrari may have have quite a challenge on their hands. I say may, because there is quite a possiblity of one of those boring dominated races. But Monaco was damn good...
