Well,Angel was in the 2nd last episode of Buffy.
I just thought Illiria would die and Fred would come back or something like that....

The cliffhanger was how the season was supposed to end before Joss heard it was cancelled. Wes dying was pointless..
Buffy Animated series could be made tho. That's all the Buffyverse on TV at the moment.

Because the WB who fund the show didnt want to renew it for the 2004/2005 season. Same happened to Buffy at the end of season 5 as the WB didnt want to give Joss more money.
