Hi, is there anyway on a default Windows Xp comp with microphone capabilites that I can record my own voice on files on the comp? If not is there any free downloads off the internet or MSN messenger if you don't mind sharing the program?

Thanks, welli only wanted to customize the sound scheme of my computer, some of which I got from games, but this is just great.
If you just want to record you speaking into the microphone you can use the sound recorder
Start > all programs > accesories > entertainment > sound recorder
But its not so good if you will be speaking for a long time, i used Rosoft audio recorder when i made audio notes for revision, it does the job.
