I have found a PS2 i want to buy, but it is black. Personally i don't care if it were pink! (well actually i would feel slightly embarrassed), Anyway my friends tell me to get a silver PS2 because the fan is 75% quieter and it is a bit quicker at loading.

Should i opt for the black PS2 and is there really that much difference between them?

Supposedly they do last longer than the warranty - though as the updated PS2s haven't been out that long, I couldn't say.
