"Reagan's dead?"

I've just heard that Ronald Reagan died today or yesterday, and I find it kind of strange. He's the first American President that I remember, coming into power in 1981, when I was born in 1977. For years he was always there, on the news, for a large part of the 1980's, when I was young.

I remember him talking about Star Wars, but not the movies, and those damn dirty Communists. Odd what you remember from when you're young.

And yes he is now dead. Shame to hear that. He was actually a decent enough president I thought, though I don't remember him that well.

Plus when I was a kid there was a Reagan movie that I really liked.

Meka is the same age as me and married with kids and stuff... Wow.

Eek - I was 8 when Reagan came into power and I remember it well ...

The only Presidents I seem to know are Clinton and Bush. I don't think I've had a good call on that.

I always thought Reagan was a bit of an idiot. But not to speak ill of the dead.
