Why oh why do people ring in the middle of the day asking for Mr or Mrs Owners of the House when the chances are they are at work.
If we're honest most (not all) people work during the day so why ring at the most unlikly time!

A lot of people do work, but there are people who don't, for example the unemployed, housewives, stoners and people skiving off work/schhol/college etc.
This happens a lot to me as well as I work from home. We get quite a lot of calls so most of the time I just hang up on them straight away.
Old people dont work, and they can be confused into buying things.
