Hey, turned on the tv today and the first thing i saw (ok it wasnt it must have been at least 30th but anyway) was a very odd little advert and at the end it Says nintendo DS! I was quite happy by this but two things concerned me
1)It didt actually show any games on it
2) it didnt show what the ds freakin looked like, i know theres lots of advertising in shops but i dont live that close to many games shops so i guess some others dont as well :D.
Nice enough advert, it shows a guy in a cafe/restaurant thing. Sees fly on big window. Pokes fly moves slightly on the window, whole world moves outside and people go flying, tries it again. Slogan like It's good to touch or along those lines.
Still would have preferred the yank Steve-o on safari one...

Anyways, as JC said, in the middle of the Simpsons is a great time for Nintendo to choose (well done NOE, for once).

Yeh, just saw it in the middle of the Simpsons. A good time to show it. Nintendo ad's sometimes appear in useless places. Like Nintendo magazines or 3 o'clock in the morning on sky sports.

Good :) Been thinking it's about time for the UK to get the DS TV adverts. As it's the first one it's probably only a teaser so the ones nearer the release will have the actual machine and games in hopefully.
It's good to see them advertising. 10 days before the launch. NOE really need to employ some sort of marketing PR firm.
