Thought I'd pop it up here to give anyone on here a chance to buy it.

Description taken from Scenic:

"With 4 x 52W X-Plod system, MP3 playback, ID3 tag which gives you track and artist information if the MP3 music files contain them, CD/MD changer control, CD Text and Text control, custom file control, CD-R/RW playback, 3 preouts(front, rear and subwoofer), RDS(Radio Data System)giving you traffic updates and displaying national radio stations, aux-in, face off, 7 band graphic equaliser(EQ7)which allows you to pick music genre e.g Pop, Jazz, Rock etc, DSO(Dynamic Sound Stage Organiser)which compensatates for most front door speakers, electronic shock protection which means that the head unit will store up to 10 seconds of music in advance so if the laser in the head unit skips, the music doesn't, 7 colour display and has the option of adding infra-red and hand held remotes"

This is a truly great unit. The only reason I'm letting it go is because my new car is now running my iPod through FM so I have no need for this. There's even an AUX-IN cable round the back that you can connect anything with a headphone out socket to. I used to run my Creative ZEN through it - very nice.

Accepts MP3 CD's even made by XP's drag&burn method (no software needed). I plonked MP3's onto a CD-RW and saved loads not buying extra CD-R's.

It's valued at £290. There used to be a remote, but that got tea-leafed by the local pikeys that tried to steal my car.

I'm asking £200, but you can make me an offer if ya like. I'll set the postage at £5 - it'll be more but I'll pay the rest (usually about £8-10 in total). That'll be Special Delivery by the way, so you'll get it the next working day (I know I work for RM, but even I can't get this sent for free!).

Er, if interested, post here or email/emesen at r2001uk at hotmail dot com

Most probably. You'd need a power converter to get it running off pedal power though.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
