I read on here recently that these two are the same story or something? Which one comes first?

I don't think there’s really that much to understand to be honest. If you enjoy the movie and the fact that you are watching these two people murder indiscriminately, it's almost like you are the media in the movie, getting enjoyment (and in the media’s case, ratings, but waiting to see what act the pair perform next) out of the spectacle on screen.

Its a satire on the media's infatuation with murder and violence. The two main characters are supposed to, after Mickey kills the Shamen ([edit] Shaman, not the popular 'dance' duo from the early to mid nineties[/edit]) , undergo a change in personality. the brutal treatment in the prison pushes them back into the downward spiral. It's a bit weak though.
Personally, I think the pair of them are great, but that's only because it's a movie. I just love the biker getting nailed. It's hilarious. :)

I didnt like NBK. There was no real hero to support. I didnt know if I should support the main characters or not because they were murderers and the ending just left me feeling wierd. Was it supposed to be a "happy" ending because they escaped? Or a bad ending because they escaped.
Nothing to do with one another, although both were written by Quentin Tarantino. Funnily enough, I watched Natural Born Killers last night. Not as good as True Romance, or indeed any other of QT's movies.
