Does anyone have this tarrif on their mobile?

I've had the sim a while, I've just been draining the credit from my old sim. I put the sim in today and wacked a tenner on it but I'm unsure whether I have to contact O2 saying "hey, give me 300 free messages" or whether the sim itself notifies them Ive topped up a tenner and as such qualify for free texts.

Any help is muchly appreciated.

if you buy online, O2 do 500 texts and 50 minutes (anytime, any network) a month for £15.

on my sim card i had to put £20 on..but thats my second, my first you only had to put £10 so your both right!

No it says a minimum of £10 LiL Bro, nowhere does it say £20.

I assume it will be something like the Bolt On things, where you request them a few days before you get them.

If you'd bothered to read the instructions, you would see that it requires £20 frist time round.

The sim should do it. I think you usually get a text message to confirm it but, like all the other text alerts from O2, it may take a day or two to arrive.
