Well, Pipex DSL e-mailed me today, telling me that it would be ready tomorrow. But i ignored that and tried to connect a day early - success!
I'm very happy with the service so far, and I’ve only been connected on hour. No interruptions no slow down, no nothing. Compared to AOL broadband Pipex seems to be 10k faster at downloading - which is quite a difference.
Can't recommend them enough; the cheapest and the fastest 512 package around. I suppose I have to thank the people here who recommended it to me in the 1st place. Thanks ;)

Got mine about a week ago, teething problems getting started which was to do with my BT phoneline, not Pipex, although they contacted BT for me and got a blokey to come around and fix it, which he did. Now it's perfect, lovely speeds and can't fault it at all. The customer service was great too.
I remeber when I got my Pipex. Was using normal internet on the day they sent me the modem, as they said it would take 7 days for BT to enable the line. While browsing Dial up I was disconnected, and it wouldn't reconnect. So, I picked up the phone. No dial tone, just a weird noise. Though "Hummmm". The the dialtone came back about 4 secs after me picking up the phone. I though "maybe they've activated my Broadband". When back to my PC to find my ADSL modem had sycronised the line, so I connect, and it worked! Got it 7 days before I expected, and I've only ever had 1 downtime since (over 22 months now) which was caused by BT digging up my road, and none of the phones working. All in all, a great ISP, Pipex.
If I'd known you were actually going to sign up with them I would've given you my username so you could tell them I recommended you and then I'd get a month free ...
