Quite recently my screen has become overrun with yellow vertical lines on the screen, not just in IE but the whole screen.

(Im also getting distorted images on startup, where the Windows XP logo appears, it has blocks missing and different colours)
They started about two days ago and a system restore or constant restarts doesn't fix the problem.
A few weeks ago I installed GCV - PINNACLE - PCTV *PCI* TV TUNER FOR PC [URL]http://uk.special.reserve.co.uk/q_GG2586_gcv__pinnacle__pct.html[/URL]
I took this card out and tried it without it to see if that was the problem but still the lines appear.
I've been told that the graphics memory on my graphics card could be too hot or broken?
This could be the case as my graphics card seems to get very hot and the fan (on the card) makes a terribly loud noise... I would seperate the cards but I have no more room left!
I bought a Maxx PC about six months ago from SR, should I contact them for assistance?
