Still, it had the bloke who was Leyland Palmer in Twin Peaks in it, and he's fantastic. Loved the way that the different characters reacted to the major events of the piece.
However, I've heard many other people say this sucks. I think they're wrong. Anyone else seen it?

Hey, shut up, I was just being polite!

Well the dream must have started with the crash, surely? Because that would've knocked her into a coma.

I guess thats acceptable because they hoped they'd find salvation at Markott, and, in the end, the girl did.

Yes but they'd have been in bodybags in reality so perhaps it is some wierd sort of crossover.

Yeah - I thought the father (who looked like Ben Harper from My Family) would kill the daughter when he went mad.
Still despite your partial reasoning I am ultimately confused by it.

Depends when the dream begun. She may have been subconsciously aware of the person that found her, and put him into the dream.

They keot seeing signs for Markott, and were trying to get there because Markott was the saviour, so yeah symbolic stuff.
> Was it at all relevant that she was pregnant?
Not really, but most of the characters made some kind of revelation - like coming to terms with things before they died - though she didn't die.
> How did her family + boyfriend get into bodybags at the end?
I think that was still part of the dream.

See, I loved the build up, and part of me thought that it would be absolutely excellent if they all ended up dead, and there was no explanation at all - sometimes bad things happen to good people for no reason whatsoever, then they could have made the thing even more creepy. I was a little disappointed with the "and it was all a dream" ending, as it's a complete cop out. Hell, I'd rather that they had passed into some screwed up alternative universe, and if they want a survivor, then she could have found a way back out of it.
I liked it from the start really, the characters weren't too stereotyped which is always good, even if the plot was totally a ripoff of my short story "Tiny little hands". Well, a bit.
Anyway, I liked it until around the one hour mark but then it all got confusing.

So they had the car crash that happened at the start and all died, except the girl - who was imagining the rest of the film, up until the point where she wakes up from the coma.
So - if she imagined it all, how did the guy in the car cross from her dream into real life?
Why was the doctor called Markott, like the town? Is it symbolic crap?
Was it at all relevant that she was pregnant?
How did her family + boyfriend get into bodybags at the end?
Explain it to me someone because I'm just plain irritated at the films unworthy and quite frankly rushed conclusion. I hoped it would all fall into place at the end and leave me going "ahhh, I see" but instead it has left me with a bitter aftertaste and thoughts of what I could have done instead of wasting an hour and a half.
The 'rents got it out and watched it last night and they thought it was rubbish - but they have poor taste.
Still, it had the bloke who was Leyland Palmer in Twin Peaks in it, and he's fantastic. Loved the way that the different characters reacted to the major events of the piece.
