I didn't think things could get much worse for NOM but the latest issue has proved me wrong.

It is a 'DS Collector's Edition' issue, but that doesn't mean that there is a DS pullout or anything like that, no, the entire magazine is devoted to the DS and there is not a single review or preview for a Gamecube game. Not even Timesplitters 3.

If that's not bad enough, the size of the magazine has been decreased to just 100 pages, they've taken out the letters pages (probably because they've only had hate mail), and they claim that Mario has been 'made smoother to control' in SM64DS.

Also, you know that exclusive DS t-shirt that came with the DSs from the stars catalogue? Well they're being given away free with subscriptions now.

This alone means that every person who currently writes for NOM should be lined up and shot, one by one.

NOM's usually better than this. However, they did have two awesome compos in the last two issues. Both of which I entered.

I only got 1 NOM magazine,i wasn't keen so i started to get NGC and im happy with that.

There wasn't a letters page... The only time I ever sent something in...

To be fair, there doesn't seem to be much Gamecube related stuff happening at the moment but Timesplitters 3 is a pretty big game and considering it's out on March 25th, before the next issue is out, you'd have expected a review by now.

Not if there's not a lot of interesting GameCube info to tell.

The last issue was out on Feb 11th (3 weeks ago) and the next issue is out on March 30th (almost 4 weeks away) so they're letting people wait for 7 weeks to get any information on Gamecube games, which is poor for a Nintendo magazine.

It's bound to be a one-off.

Is it a special one off DS edition or something?

Cos didn't the last issue only come out like 1-2 weeks ago?
