I can not believe that the football writers have awarded Teddy Sherringham the Player of the Year award.

Teddy had a good three months at the start of the season and that was that. What about the guys who have produced consistently all season, for example :

Patrick Viera
Ashley Cole
Marcus Stewart
Steven Gerrard

to name just four.

This is typical Man Utd bias.

Wanchope-He's alright doesn't compare to Marcus stewart though.

I would vote for paulo wanchope ; Anyone who can play football with their legs on back to front gets my vote.

Ryan giggs is a world class player but he hasn't played as well as possible this season.

Teddy was given this award because of the curcamstances in which he performed. Think about it, the guy is 35. Thats pritty old and to still be performing at the top level is a achievement in itself.

Personally i would have voted for Roy keane.

Is Sherringham even in the team at the moment?? He did have a great couple of months but he hasnt even been a first team regular for the past few weeks!! Who judges these awards anyway, Alex Fergusson??

Good luck hunter. But Ashley cole deserve's it more than patrick viera.

I'm going to track down and actually fight whoever is responsible for awarding Teddy Sheringham the player of the year award over Patrick Vieira who is the best player in the premiership by as big a margin as man Utd are the best team ie MILES.

At least Stewart performed consistently all season. He is a more worthy winner in my book.
