I really don't think it'll be very good this year to be honest, it seems very 'manufactured' and it's going to be filled with complete knobs. Hopefully it'll be decent but I doubt it.
You could've checked the official site and found that out.

I agree, it can be poorly written, acted and boring at times (which is happening quite a bit more at the moment). But once you start to know the characters and the long running plot lines, it's easier to overlook the undenyably dull scenes, such as Sonya's wedding plans, and enjoy what's actually engaging and well made drama.
I used to share your opinion, for quite a while. From the outside, it does look like consistent, familiar crap, but it's one of those programmes that truly rewards regular viewing.
