Ok - Ive got a cheap (but cool) creative wireless optical mouse, which seems very accurate when I use it for browsing etc...

However when I fire up UT2004 the precision seems to go down causing many embarrasing deaths, is this to do with the time it takes the RF signal to convert etc? or is it the low resolution (I dont know exactly what res. it is - but based on the price, I would imagine not that high)

I reconnected my old PS/2 port mouse and things (seemed) to improve, I dont know whether this is psychological or technical...

I bet you are sick to death of changing those damn batteries right? The MX700 has a recharge station that will keep the mouse running for days on a single charge. Ive never seen any lag on the MX700 myself, i dont know what sort of use Tyla was putting it to, but i play UT2004 with it perfectly.

Most definatley, zero lag on the 510, I used to experience some lag on the 700

Am I the only one who finds the optical mice too light? I like having the weight of the ball in the mouse, I find it feels more firm and less 'tacky', if thats the right word.

YaY!! Im sold by the MX series!! the MX900 would compliment my phone nicely... but that price tag leaves a lot to be desired.

MX700 and MX510 -> Is there a noticeable difference between the two?

MX510 out performs it, though wired it has an 800-dpi resolution, and able to track up to 15 G's of acceleration. Absolutley awsome mouse, couldn't live without it (Had an MX700 before my MX510).

Yes, I did sort of fiddle around with the precision settings, but it just made the game jerk around...

Is there an option to adjust mouse speed/precision in the game or the menu?
