I've got a meeting on the 18th of June in essex, so I will need to get on the tube, but I have never been on it before.

So just wondering if it is difficult to navigate or any tips you may have.

Thanks.

The Underground isn't too hard to use; I say that despite a friend of mine once got lost on it.

Basically, plan your route in advance so you know where to go and which lines to take. The Paris Metro is still worse, however.

The tube is easy to use, even for public transport shy types like me. The routes are all colour coded and clearly signposted everywhere, so you know what line you're walking on to, and which way the train is going. There are big maps of the line inside the train carriages, and you stop at every station along the way. They're all clearly signposted as well, so you should have a bit of trouble getting lost.

Having said that, I've kinda mastered it. I always make sure I wake up before Fulham Broadway on a saturday. But, it's not worth the risk, especially if you're not used to the tube:

DON'T FALL ASLEEP
