"AS Level English Exam"

I've got 3 hours of English exams this afternoon and if I get lower than a B, I'm rather in the proverbial sheet, as it were.

*crosses fingers*

I'm mostly fine analysing texts, I just dont like the teories we have to apply - it makes it very sciency and I dont really care much for science.

I did the same exam, did you not realise that on the CD cover it did say at the top that it was a CD cover?

It was ok but the commentary on a script is harder than anythin else i tell thee.. NOt fair. Where did good old fashioned write a magazine article for...

The first paper was sorting texts and I messed up one of them because I thought it was an advert until I sussed it was actually a CD cover.

Then I ran out of time comparing an email, answering machine messages and the cd cover and only did about 6 pages.

The last paper was better, I had to analyse how gender was expressed in a column of FHM and how power and authority were conveyed by a school letter.

Well that was f**king hard

Yeah, I know. I've got a contingency plan but I'd like to do well first time.

Ach, your A2 is another year. You can make up difference on that. Plus resits if needs be.

I need an A overall by the end of next year to get onto the course I want at Uni.

Why less than a B?
