Hi all, Monkey_man here, long time no post.

I've had an idea for a website that I might build over the Summer, using my design powers for good instead of evil! I want to make a service, similar to the Oxfam site that launched recently, that lets bands and artists sell mp3s, with the money going to charity. I've figured out how to make it, PHP, SQL, design, eveything, blah blah blah, just need the time. I think it's a good idea, can't wait to see it in action.

Anyone else got any good ideas for websites?

Hmm, nice idea, though I'm not sure that people would pay to download tracks from the kind of artists that you'd attract.

Another idea could be to allow free downloads, but use banner ads to make a little money for charity, or have a 'donation box', where you can suggest people make a charitable donation, or pay what they think is fair for the music they downloaded.

Just an idea.

Well, after my GCSEs I'll be doing a TimeSplitters: Future Perfect Fan site (Like my TimeSplitters 2 one) at http://timesplitters-futureperfect.port5.com . Not quite as comendable as your idea, but never mind.
