Anyone recommend any more, and don't say Lee Evans, he bugs me.

Watched Gervais again last night.

there's a great sketch :

He's a Geordie.
So he's funny by default.

Jim Davidson's stand-up is some of the worst stuff ever. Painful.

Mark Lamaar is a standup king, I've only ever seen one standup show by him and it was excellent!


Eddie Murphy is meant to be the best standup since Richard Pryor (who was the best ever).


I'm also partial to Jim Davidson's canned humour (sexism, racism and anything else offensive you care to include).

Eddie Murphy's Raw and Delirious shows are fantastic. Probably a bit dated now, but they really emphasize the difference in class between the 80's Eddie to the modern Eddie.

Excellent hour or so stand up show, where he takes the mick out of Religion, Fat People, the French etc etc.
