Speaking of Lynch...I was watching Straight Story the other day and I noticed how pretty much everyone smokes or is seen holding a beer in their hands at some point. Anyone know the meaning of this, or is it just there?
Mulholland Drive was a dead loss. David Lynch must have sat behind the camera going 'ooh, I'm so quirky and obscure... quick, someone add a mutant tramp to this scene so it makes even less sense.'
Saying that, it's a great film and definitely worth buying.
