This may sound a wee bit soppy but here is a poem my girlfriend wrote for me, it is the first time she has ever written any poetry and i think its fantastic.

If i do not wake in the morning,
I want you to know that my heart is soaring,
This is because, as you will see,
Of all the love you've given me,
This love we share is as strong as,
So please my angel do not be frightened,
what matters most is how we feel,
And how we know this love is real,

I remind you this,
Keep it close to your heart,
No-one and nothing can break us apart!

That is the poem that my beautiful girlfriend wrote for me.

Here is the one I wrote, tell me if its any good *prepares himself*

Your love for me brightens the darkest of days,
You make me happy in so many ways.
Our love for each other will fill this land,
As we walk together, hand in hand.

This love we share, I know is real,
We’ve suffered so much but our hearts will heal.
You are the first to have this love of mine,
And so it will be until the end of time.

You’ve shown me so much,
I see life through your eyes.
Together we’ll blaze a trail of love,
Across these beautiful, never-ending sky’s.

I came up with it yesterday but had to do a little revision on it, I still don't think its too good though, it's been a while since I last wrote any poetry.

quite warm and fuzzy really
