I do agree that some players look older than they are. Its probably down to them trying to put more detail into thier faces, but these extra details arnt exactly graphically sound(didnt spend enough time on them, poor graphics in general etc) and just end up looking like wrinkles, hence the oldness.
Thats my theory anyway.
