Recently I have been getting quite a few spam emails, trying to sell me all kinds of crap. Is there any free spam filter program that you recommend I could try. Want it to connect to my POP3 and then either be used with Outlook Express or normal Outlook.

i've started using this program, it's very good at automatically handling spam and separating it from legit emails.

Yes, of course I'm bloody advertising - you're on OUR chat forums! If anybody's going to advertise on here, it'll be US!

Spam Combat from http://www.glocksoft.com is a free bit of software that can combat spam, its very complicated to setup and I would recommend any Freeola users to use the Spam service, although not free is very powerful and easy to customise, it does of course include an industry leading anti virus scanning software.

I would recommend you use Mozilla Firebird (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/) rather than Outlook Express, as it has a built in spam filter. Other than that I can say Norton Internet security's spam filter is quite good.
