Microsoft have created a great console but it is hge and will take up loads of space. And the joypad is even larger.
It has way too many buttons to control and has two anlogue sticks that aren't even opposite each other. One is at the top of the pad and the other is at the bottom of the pad. Why didn't they design it easier to hold as well because it looks really uncomfortable to hold as well. Unlike the perfectly designed controlers of the N64 and PSX.

i don;t know about the n64 controller but the PSX controller is really really uncomfortable....
anyway the size of the console doesn't really bother me...and as for the controller well i don't really care either seeing as there will be other companies making x box controllers too so if the official one is really that bad then you just get a different type.
what does matter the most though is the games and to a lesser extent the price and whether the ps2 will finally get good games by the lorry load...
i'm tempted by the x box i seriously am....
