I have htpatch.exe running at startup (well I don't at the moment, I've moved it until I know what it is) and I want to know what it is. It has the barcode like icon. What is it and is it needed?
Thanks

Should be no increased risk of crashing, but I don't know wherther it will effect battery life.
The folloing video shows the benefits of HyperThreading speed wise:

Depending on which server you get the fastest speed on.
