As you've probably guessed by now, I'm trying to put a site together to upload my music onto, and to let others upload onto. Howver, I'm having major problems with the code.
Firstly, I can't code anything for a web-page, so I've been getting stuff from Hotscripts.com and, mostly, it's all comnig together.
However, all the .php code I've tried to use to let people upload tracks timesout. The same goes for the .asp code I've tried.
I've tried some .cgi but have no idea how to get that working.
Does anyone know of, or have any code that I could use? Or possibly try to explain how cgi stuff works?
I know I'm being really lazy and should learn myself. I keep telling myself I'll learn php one day....

If no PHP stuff works then it's the web server not letting you upload, not the scripts.
I've used plenty of upload scripts on other servers and they always work.
Give your host a buzz and tell them.
