A team spend minutes getting into a good position, only for the ball to go all the way back to the goalie of defence.

Argg.

Also, on the Premiership. Arsenal are the main game, a game with only 3 goals. Why show this one when they could show the games with 6 goals?

Just because Arsenal are champions, they should show the games with greater number of goals as the extended games.

I particularly liked ITV's appreciation of Yakubu.

All 15 seconds of it.

Arsenal just made history. Of course it was gonna be the main game. Regardless of how many goals were scored.

They still haven't got the record for most games unbeaten, that still stands at Nottingham Forest.
But people from the first division is always the champions first game so....

Arsenal - 40 games unbeaten
Forest - 42 games unbeaten

I just hope that they get Man Utd as the second match and they get whooped...aahhh the dreams.

Incase you don't know, The Premiership always managed to somehow pish me off, anyway!

I only really watched it last night to see what happened with Leeds and their Premiership finalé against Chelski (aswell as United's game against Villa, of course). But, yet again, I fell-asleep half way through the Liverpool game and didn't wake up again 'til half-12!

I avoided seeing any of the day's football scores just for this... But, for what? I missed most of it, and I still haven't bothered to see how Leeds did - please, don't spoile it and tell me now.

This NEVER used to happen with [I]Match of the Day[/B] (excepy, maybe, on the FA Cup 3rd Round specials where it went on past midnight, perhaps...). Thank God then that was the LAST I will have to endure of Des Lynam and the "Benda Boyz" on a Saturday night since the deal finishes along with this season!! :D

Bring back Match of the Day!!! :D

Erm what the hell do you expect? They've just made history and lifted the Premiership crown, but hey lets stick on Southampton vs Charlton instead, yeah?

That wouldn't matter one bit we are the first premiership side to go through a whole season unbeaten :P
Even i find it unbelievable after the season before Arsene said 'I wouldn't be suprised if we went through the season unbeaten' we didn't so everyone slated us whenever we lost, but this season we've actually done it.
